Tammy Turner is the Co-Owner and Co-Founder of Kapstone Employment Services (Certified MBE, WBE, WOSB). She is an Engineering Recruiter and a Headhunter for the Automotive Industry. She recruits for all Engineering disciplines: Mechanical, Electrical, Quality, Software, Program Managers, CAD Designers, Design Engineers, with specific expertise with Controls Engineers. Her debut book, How to Talk to Strangers: A Step-by-Step Guide to Professional Networking, is a vital tool for any business professional looking to go to the next level. Tammy was also recently named one of the 25 Most Influential Women in Detroit.
Martell D. Bivings, known as, “Bivings” was born and reared in Detroit, MI. He is a graduate of Cody High School and Howard University. After graduating from Howard and working in the United States Senate as a staffer, Bivings returned home in 2012. Bivings has worked with a State representative and a City Councilman. Bivings has focused his career on activating the powers of Government to help raise up the downtrodden. Since May of 2018, Bivings has been using these skills at the Detroit Economic Growth Corporation (DEGC) to advocate, assist, and secure resources for small businesses in City Council District 4.
