DBHG is offering two event scholarships to college students who would like to attend the Shannon Steel Real Estate Club Event on January 22nd from 4-6 pm at Central Kitchen. Business, insurance, real estate or finance related majors can apply. Just write a one-hundred-word essay, including which Michigan college or university you attend and why you would like to attend the event with your contact information. Detroit Business Hub Group Institute is ecstatic that Shannon Steel, Ramada Plaza by Wyndham in Southfield Owner, will open the 2021 DBHG Institute Lecture Series! Shannon will speak Friday, January 22nd, from 4-6 pm at Central Kitchen located in downtown Detroit. She will launch her real estate investment club at this event!

Ms. Steel was awarded Wyndham Hotel and Resorts Developer of the Year for 2019. She also has acquired many other commercial and residential investment properties including a second hotel, 90 acres of land which is currently being developed, acquired businesses, and ran them successfully. A newer addition to her real estate portfolio is an offshore private bank.

Steel completed her post-graduate studies at Harvard Business School Online earning a finan
